The National Transuranic Program Department of Sandia National Laboratories is interested in identifying radioactive waste and radioactive-mixed (with hazardous) waste processing and volume reduction technologies in support of a Department of Energy initiative. Interested parties of radioactive waste and radioactive-mixed waste processing and volume reduction technologies, either conceptual, innovative or proven, are requested to submit descriptions of appropriate technologies to the contact within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Of particular interest are chemical, physical, thermal (including plasma) waste processing and volume reduction technologies applicable to transuranic (TRU) and TRU-mixed wastes.
