The data acquisition system for the Arcject Facilities Complex at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA is being replaced. The system will be used to record data gathered during tests conducted in the Arcject Facilities Complex. The complex houses five separate operational facilities which generate high enthalpy, high velocity air streams used for ablative and erosive testing. The data recorded during testing will range in duration from less than one minute to as long as one hour with a typical test lasting from 5 to 20 minutes. The data needs to be displayed in real time. The system will store the data for future data reduction and analysis. The system shall also be capable of producing reports on demand and archiving data for future use.
