The Air Force intends to purchase software, developer licenses, and license support for Uniface conversion of A Science and Technology Action Reporting System (ASTARS) to meet federal open systems requirements and to provide a graphical environment for ASTARS. The software must provide multiple database access without the need for software drivers, stacks, or modules on the client computer used by the end user. No specialized configuration requirements on the client computer will be allowable. As a minimum, the software must provide UNIX compatible services for ORACLE databases, and flat (unformatted record) text files from an application developed in Uniface V5 or V6. Interested sources may submit pricing and technical data. All responses received from resposible sources on or before 15 days from this publication will be fully considered.
