The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Renovation of 10,000 sf of a 130' x 200' hangar, consisting of removal of existing walls and construction of two paint booths, two sandblast/beadblast booths, preparation areas, a drying area, office space, storage space for paints and POL's, tool crib area, wet pipe sprinkler system, misc electrical, renovation of the HVAC system, removal of asbestos floor tile, and construction of a 28,000 sf of bituminous parking area. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a April 25, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request and receipt of payment of $35.00 per set (non-refundable) with check made payable to ''Omaha District, Corps of Engineers.''
