MK-Ferguson is requesting information from prospective Subcontractors who are interested in being pre-qualified for bidding on a competitive firm-fixed priced contract for the removal of all chemical plant foundations, underground utilities, buried debris, unsuitable soil and contaminated in the area for cell construction. Only pre-qualified Subcontractors will be allowed to submit proposals. In order to be pre-qualified, the submitting Subcontractor must satisfy the following minimum requirements and submit information substantiating their qualifications: (1) Having performed excavating and remediation of hazardous waste sites, work should include concrete demolition, low permeability backfill, and placement of engineered fill. Your substantiation, at a minimum, should include a list of at least two projects of the magnitude, of this project which has been performed within the past five years and which you have completed safely and within the schedule requirements. The following data must be submitted for each project; address, client, current contact person and phone number. (2) Experience and knowledge of environmental regulation, CRCLA, RCRA, etc. and demonstrate how such knowledge and experience will be available and influence project planning, operation and executive personnel. (3) Completed one Government cleanup project within the last five years, to include project name, site, phone number, and current contact person. (4) Safe work history as proven by OSHA 200 reports and an EMR rating of 1.2 or less. (5) Financial capability and bonding capacity for an estimated project cost of $25,000,000. (6) Evidence of commitment to support Socio-Economic programs for Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business. The pre-qualification packages are due no later than April 24, 1995. Plans and specifications will be issued on or about May 18, 1995. The estimated range for this project is over $10,000,000.00, and the performance period is 630 calendar days.
