Solicitation Notice: Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the electrical upgrade of Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital and the installation of a new medical gas system for patient care. Other work includes the construction of a new generator building; installation of three new 200 kW emergency generators; installation of new medical air compressors and medical vacuum pumps; and oxygen, medical air, and medical vacuum outlets for the Hospital's inpatient medical/surgical suite, operating room, inpatient obstetrics suite, and emergency and cast rooms. The plans are dimensioned using International System of Units (SI) (Metric) ``soft conversion'' wherein metric equivalents are substituted for standard inch-pound measurements. Estimated price range is $1 million to $5 million. This is a Solicitation Notice for bids. Contract documents, including plans and specifications will be available on or before April 11, 1995. A non-refundable fee of $100 per set of bid documents is required. In accordance with the Public Health Service Acquisition Regulation Paragraph 380.503(e), not more than fifty (50) percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract awarded pursuant to the Buy Indian Act shall be subcontracted to other than Indian firms.
