The work consists of approximately 148,400 sf of renovation to Base Family Housing, which includes complete interior reconfiguration and renovation of 112 units. Project includes the demolition of interior finishes down to the wood framing. The renovation work will include additional new wood framing, gypsum wallboard, new floor, wall and ceiling finishes, new doors/windows, insulation upgrading, new plumbing and electrical systems and fixtures, reuse of existing forced air mechanical units with new ductwork, fire protection and residential sprinkler systems, new kitchen cabinets with dishwashers, rangehood with fire extinguishing system, and washer/dryer connections. Minor exterior renovation to include brick patching and new brick on room expansion and pipe column replacement. Sitework will include carport renovation with new concrete slab and asphalt paving, new patios, brick privacy screens, minor grading, new water service and landscaping.
