Work also consists of miscellaneous concrete repairs, repairs to steel beam guardrails, replacement of rusted bearing nuts and bolts, and cleaning and painting of the bridge steel. Note: The original primer is lead-based. This is not a lead abatement, however spot blasting of deteriorated paint is required and the work involves a lead hazard.
