59 -- CROSSED FIELD AMPLIFIERS SOL N00164-95-R-0124 POC Contact point, Roger Brett Code 1163LH, 812-854-5269 Contracting Officer Kelly Siffin This procurement is for production of Crossed Field Amplifiers (CFAs), manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 53711-6155761 Rev C, WS-21608, and SCN 1, and with NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane Statement of Work. The basic quantity is for 133 each with an option for an additional 133 each. Required delivery of the basic shall be through January-September 1996 at a rate of 14-15 per month. Delivery of the option quantity shall be through October 1996-September 1997 at a rate of 11-12 per month. Delivery will be FOB destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. Only the following sources are considered to be qualified and only they will be solicited: Varian Associates, Beverly, MA and Litton Systems, Inc., Williamsport, PA. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. See note 23. The production of the supplies listed requires a substantial initial investment and an extended period of preparation for manufacture. The solicitation will be issued on or about 2 May 1995; closing on or about 1 June 1995 at 2:00 PM local time. Contractors shall be required to posses a secret security clearance. (0088)
