61 -- HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER COOLERS SOL 1425-5-SP-10-13800 DUE 051195 POC Contact Susie Zimmer, 208/378-5112 The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee WA, has a requirement for: 36 high-voltage transformer shell and tube oil coolers to replace existing 43MVA Westinghouse FW oil coolers on Generating Units G13-18. Coolers to be double-walled with leak detector tubing, multiple criss-crossed oil passes and single or two-pass water side. The coolers will utilize the reservoir/lake water as a cooling medium which is subject to wide temperature fluctuations during summer and winter months. Reclamation is seeking a supplier regularly engaged in the design and manufacture of oil coolers used on high voltage transformers (40MVA and above). FOB destination point is Grand Coulee Dam, Washington. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3612 and the size standard is 750 employees.
