66 -- PHYSICAL PROPERTIES TESTING EQUIPMENT POC James Mattingly, Contract Specialist, 202/435-7621 This notice of intent to issue an IDIQ contract for the purchase of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 90; XR-150 x-ray units from Golden Engineering, 6364 Means Road, Centerville, Indiana 47330. The period of performance shall be for the base year and two option years. The x-ray units shall be DOD EOD approved. No award will be made solely on the basis of this notice since a synopsis of intent cannot be considered a RFP/RFQ. Response to this notice will be the basis to determine whether bonafide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Only written requests are acceptable. Firms must submit information identifying their capability to supply the required equipment. However, this information will be considered only if clear and convincing documentation, including technical and pricing information, is received by this office within 30 days after the publication of this notice. No solicitaion document is available. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
