Cesarone, (215)897-5434 The FISC Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia, intends to acquire on a full and open competitive basis, seventy (70) Visicom Labs, Inc. Versa Module Eurocard (VME) Card Sets, or Equal, for the Naval Command, Control, and Ocean Surveillance Center (NISE East), North Charleston, SC. Each NAVMACS II COMMUNICATION CONTROLLER (NCC) VME Card Set consist of one (1) System Contol Proceesor (SCP) Card, part number 500-4000-002-CE (or equal) for a total quantity of seventy (70), and two (2) Serial I/O Processor (SIOP) Cards, part number 530-1111-003-C (or equal) for a total quantity of one hundered forty (140). This acquisition will contain 4 Option Quantities consisting of fifty (50) VME Card Sets each. Visicom Labs, Inc. P/N 500-4000-002-CE consists of a Force Computers P/N CPU40B/16-01 with Eagle Ethernet and VxWorks Real Time OS (version 5.1.1) with License. Visicom Labs, Inc. P/N 530-1111-003-C consists of a Performance Technology Inc. P/N PT-VME330A-AVN and VxWorks Real Time OS (Version 5.1.1) with License. The required Delivery Date for this acquisition is 120 days after Award of Contract. The Required Delivery Date for each option quantity is 90 days after the exercise of that option. The VME cards must meet the following Minimum Requirements: all Boards to be capable of running NCC Phase 2 Software, furnished by the Government, Without Modification to such Software; all Boards to be delivered Fully Configured for NCC use, including all Switches Set, Jumpers Configured, Batteries Installed and Programmable Parts Programmed and Installed; vendor must certify that all Boards have been Tested to verify proper operation prior to delivery; vendors response must identify how the vendor will Test the Board Sets prior to delivery; each Card Set will be provided with a minimum one (1) year Warranty; all Boards must meet the following Minimum Environmental Requirements: Operating Temperatures with Forced Air Cooling: 0 to +50 degrees C; Storage Temperature: -40 to +85 degrees C; Relative Humidity (Non Condensing): 0 to 90%. Additional Physical and Functional Characteristics will be provided in the solicitation document. Copies of the solicitation should be requested within 15 days of this synopsis from the address in paragraph 7 above, ATTN: Code 0343C and should reference Control Number 95-2037.
