A -- MODELING AND SIMULATION RESEARCH SUPPORT FOR THE ES-3 AND S- 3 AND INTEGRATION OF THESE PLATFORMS WITH THOSE OF THE F-14D AND THE F/A-18 SOL N00421-93-G-0029 POC Josephine Scully, Contract Specialist, (301) 862-8117 Linda Suggs, Contracting Officer, (301) 826-1828 x108. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue a task order against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-93-G-0029 for Modeling and Simulation Research Support for the duration of six months. This Intelligent Multisource, Multisensor Integration (IMMSI) program is a three-phase ATD examining and adaptive control network for aircraft sensor management and integration, effective sharing of tactical sensor information, and coordinating tactical action among diverse airborne platforms. New sensor modes, sensor fusion technology, information integration methods and coordinated control techniques that optimize use of combat resources across platforms are being developed. This follow-on research and development applies directly to the ES-3 and S-3 platforms, as well and the third phase of the program specifically focuses on the integration of these platforms with those of the F-14D and the F/A-18. This order shall be issued to Magnavox Electronic Systems Company, 1313 Production Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808 as the Phase III work builds entirely upon prior work and specifically utilizes the simulations already developed and is, therefore, the only company capable of completing the final integrated simulation.
