The Navy has a requirement for connection services to facilitate both TCP/IP data line access and video-teleconferencing activities between the Naval Research Laboratory-Stennis Space Center, MS, the Naval Research Laboratory-Washington D.C., and the Naval Research Laboratory-Monterey CA. The following Consultive Committee for International Telephone and Telegraph (CCITT) Standards are applicable to this solicitation: (a) CCITT H.261-Video Coding; (b) CCITT H.230-Interoperability Requirements; (c) CCITT H.221-Communications Frame; (d) CCITT H.242-Call Set-up and Disconnect; (e) CCITT G728 and G711-Audio Coding; (f) CCITT H.230-Control Signaling; and (g) CCITT H.2231 and H.243-Multipoint. The contemplated period of performance will be for one basic year with four (4) option years. Complete requirements will be provided in the solicitation package. Prospective vendors should request, in writing, a copy of Solicitation Number N00014-95-R-RS01. The RFP will be issued approximately 15 days from this publication date. Solicitation closing date will be 30 days after RFP issuance. All responsible sources responding to this solicitation will be considered for award.
