Hall (816)426-7267, extension 233 The National Weather Service (NWS) Training Center plans to issue a solicitation to provide instruction on UNIX System Administration. The Contractor is to teach three individual sessions of this course at the NWS Training Center in Kansas City, Missouri. These three courses may be scheduled consecutively. There shall be a minimum of 25% and a maximum of 50% hands-on (laboratory) work during each phase of the course. Each session shall provide eight seven-hour days of training to 16 individuals. The Contractor shall provide certified instructors, all instructor materials, student guides, audiovisual materials, all testing materials, and eight HP 9000/700 series workstations. The Government will provide a suitable classroom for the Contractor at the NWS Training Center. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 18, 1995. The anticipated performance period is May 30, 1995 through July 27, 1995. This solicitation is unrestricted. SIC Code 7379 applies. All requests must be in writing.
