This project is for the design and construction of a 4,032 sq ft (approximate) gymnasium with two racquetball courts, with men's and women's locker rooms, shower and sauna areas, a storage room and mechanical-electrical room. This structure is to erected adjacent to Bldg 1358 at Arnold Air Force Station, Tennessee. Work includes erecting a pre-engineered metal building with pre-finished metal roofing and siding, insulation, concrete block walls for shower/locker areas, metal stud walls and gypsum board, gypsum board ceiling, metal doors and frames, suspended ceiling system, painting, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, power, communications system, fire alarm and fire detection systems. Additive alternate 1 is a 3'' potable water line approximately 1,950 ft long. Additive Alternate 2 is for furnishing and installing 46 metal lockers. Estimated order of magnitude is between $100,000 and $500,000. Performance period for designing and constructing this facility shall be 225 calendar days following receipt of a notice to proceed. Any interested firm may submit a bid which will be considered. Foreign participation is authorized.
