Z -- REPLACE ELEVATED APPROACH LIGHT TOWERS, PROJECT NO. 87-0038 Sol F29605-95-B0005. Due 051895. This solicitation is for Replace Elevated Approach Light Towers, Project No. 87-0038 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. This project includes the replacement of 19 wooden elevated approach lighting towers, lighting and associated wiring with new metal frangible lighting towers and lighting. This also includes steady burning and 28 fixture sequenced flasher system. The last four tower power and control circuits will be placed underground in new underground ductwork. Wiring and controls will be replaced to allow five-step intensity control, switch-ability from ALFS to SSALR configurations, and independent cut-off of flashers. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance time shall be 120 calendar days. This acquisition will be set-aside for SDBs, however, business concerns other than SDBs are invited to bid. If at time of Bid Opening, SDB bids are determined to be more than 10 percent above the fair market price (DFARS 219.502-2-70(a)(2)), this acquisition will be converted to unrestricted.'' Therefore, replies to this notice is requested from SDB concerns as well as from all interested concerns. Firms should indicate whether they are Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Women-Owned, Small or Large Business Concerns. Also firms should state if they are interested as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. IFB will be issued on or about 18 Apr 95. There will be one organized site visit tentatively scheduled for 28 Apr 95. The job site is a restricted area, therefore, all personnel attending the site visit must notify SRA Haney no later than 27 Apr 95 if they will attend to arrange for transportation on the flightline.
