REDDING, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-92-G-0089 with Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company (LASC) for Phase II of the P-3 Communications Improvement Program (CIP.) Phase II includes the integration of the DAMA SATCOM communications system and the prototype installation of this system into a P-3C aircraft. As the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the P-3 aircraft, LASC is the only source that possesses the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings and data with which to perform the total weapon system integration effort required.
