65 -- IMMUNOASSAY ANALYZER SOL RFP 548-10-95 DUE 050295 POC Contracting Officer, Sharon Leszczynski, (407)882-6508 It is the intent of the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach Florida to negotiate sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Abbott Laboratories, Diagnostics Division, Dept. 943, Bldg. AP6C, 100 Abbott Park Road, Abbott Park, Illinois 60064-3500 for an Axsym automated immunoassay analyzer manufactured by Abbott Laboratories. Analyzer must provide fully random, continuous and immediate access with STAT testing capabilities for mass CK-MB and Therapeutic Drugs and allow for STAT interrupt in less than 30 seconds, STAT results of TDMs and CK-MB in less than 20 minutes. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source contract will be negotiated. Responses indicating an interest in this acquisition must be received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit descriptive literature with their interest proving their capability to respond to the requirements.
