The International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico, U.S. Section has a requirement for a firm-fixed price requirements contract for Archaeological, Historical, and Paleontological services to be conducted within the United States at locations along the international boundary from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. The Scope of Services requires the contractor to conduct field surveys, visits, and interviews; determine the area of potential effects; prepare research designs; conduct literature searches; execute studies and prepare reports; and perform site monitoring, site mitigation through data recovery, and laboratory work. The services shall comply with environmental laws and regulations, such as, but not limited to, the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), Public Law 91-190, as amended, Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, 36 CFR 800, and with state requirements, as may be applicable, for preservation of paleontological materials. The firm-fixed price requirements contract is for a basic one year period from the effective data of the contract with four (4) one year options to extend the term of the contract. The term of the contract will not exceed five (5) years.
