This Solicitation is to collect information on soil, vegetation, and landform features in sufficient detail to map ecological units across landscapes consistently. The inventory will be completed to standards developed in the National Cooperative Soil Survey. Survey is to be completed on approximately 120,000 acros in Fiscal Year 1995. This is a 5-year effort. Desired Start Work Date is May 1, 1995. This work will be accomplished on the Gifford Pinchot and Mt. Hood National Forests. See Numbered Notes 1 & 3. (087)
