F -- MANUAL RELEASE Sol R5-05-95-027. Contact A Wargin; Contracting Officer R Metcalfe, 916/842-6131. Project consists of manual release - cutting brush and hardwoods with chainsaws/brushcutters. Release will be approximately 125 trees per acre and will be an eight foot radius around crop trees. Created slash shall be lopped. Brush height shall not exceed 36 inches deep; hardwood slash shall not exceed 18 inches deep and length shall not exceed five feet. This is an indefinite quantity contract. The government shall order a minimum of 292 acres of manual release, and a maximum of 350 acres of manual release under the contract. Work is to be performed for the Salmon River Ranger District, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Contract Time: 35 calendar days. Date for receipt of bids has not been established, but is estimated to be in mid May, 1995. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (086)
