COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 3,1995 PSA#1316TRADE MISSION TO MEXICO The U.S. Department of Commerce invites U.S.
software firms to participate in a trade mission to Guadalajara, Mexico
City, and Monterrey, Mexico, July 31 - August 4, 1995. This mission
aims to help U.S companies make valuable contacts with potential agents
and distributors Mexico, one of Latin America's largest software
markets. Mexico's software market was valued at $400 million in 1994
and is expected to exceed $630 million by 2000. As part of this event,
mission members will participate in customized one-on-one business
meetings with potential agents and distributors held at their office;
attend briefings on the local software market and business climate at
each stop; and receive on-site support from U.S. Department of Commerce
staff. Interpreters will also be provided. The trade mission will visit
Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey. Companies may participate in
any number of these stops. The participation fee for this event is $750
each for Guadalajara and Monterrey and $850 for Mexico City. The
