Provide Fire Protection, Bldg. 3119, Andrews AFB, MD 20331. The work
includes the removal/replacement of specific interior doors, enclosure
of maintenance bay balcony, and installation of a sprinkle system in
the shop and administrative spaces. The Standard Industrial
Classification for this project is 1542, Small Busines size standard is
not more than $17M average annual revenue for the previous three years.
Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Interested
concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar
days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as
a prime contractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform
including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of
contact, telephone numbers, and if appropriate, a positive statement
of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged
business concern. In addition, dollar amount of current construction
bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize
the information received to make a decision to issue this solicitation
as set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as
``UNRESTRICTIVE'' without further notice. Therefore replies to this
notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as
from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as
small disadvantaged business or 8(a). A firm fixed price contract is
expected. Plans, specifications, bid documents, and bidder's mailing
list must be requested in writing by prime contractors. No verbal
requests will be honored, facsimile requests will be accepted at
