Repair Aircraft Parking Apron - This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance of all operations necessary for the removal and replacement of concrete pavement, including full and partial depth, cleaning and sealing of joints, pavement markings and any other miscellaneous work as required to complete the project on the aircraft parking aprons at McConnell AFB. Magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-95-B0017 is 21 Apr 95. Tentative opening date is 22 May 95. Performance period will be 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code is 1611. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 calendar days of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 21 Apr 95. No telephone requests for bid sets will be honored. All requests for bid sets must be in writing.
