Presolicitation Notice. Furnish all labor, material and equipment
necessary to renovate Ambulatory Care Unit. Work to include but is not
limited to asbestos abatement, removal of interior partitions,
ceiling, flooring, doors, frames, finishes, cabinetry, bases, plumbing
fixtures, piping, nurse call system installation, ductwork, HVAC
units, electrical systems and other items of general construction
associated with Ambulatory Care renovations. Estimated cost: $500,000
- $1,000,000. Bid Item I consists of Phases 1 and 1A which includes
complete renovation of A Wing, Bldg #3, 1st Floor (Administrative areas
and police operations area located near the main entrance) and the C
Wing, Bldg #3, 1st floor (Agent Cashier and Patient Fund areas). Total
completion time for these areas is 240 calendar days. Bid Item II
consists of Phase 2 which includes renovations of the C wing, Bldg #3,
1st floor (clinic areas, waiting room and mechanical room.) Completion
time for this area is 134 calendar days after completion of Phases 1
and 1A. Bid Item III consists of Phase 3 which includes renovations to
the remainder of C wing, Bldg #3, 1st floor. Completion time for this
area is 74 calendar days after completion of Phase 2. It is the
Government's intention to award all 3 bid items, however, should offers
exceed available funds, award will be made on Item I or a combination
of Items I and II in that order of precedence. Award to be made
pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. SIC
Code 1542 applies to this procurement. A $100.00 non-refundable fee
(certified check or money order - NO CASH) is required to obtain bid
package which will be available on or about 5/22/95 on a first-come
first-serve basis while supplies last. Bids will be considered from all
