Work includes: Excavate an area approximately four feet wide and ten feet deep around north and west sides of building perimeter, approximately 220 lineal feet; shore with lumber and plywood to prevent cave-ins. Install Government-furnished water-proofing sheet and geotextile filter fabric to walls. Install 4'' perforated drain tile and two sump pumps. Modify existing gutters and down spouts. Place two concrete retaining walls (approximately 4'X10'). Replace soil, tamp, slope, and replace plantings and wash rock. All work to be performed at the U.S. Customhouse, Stutsman & Cavalier Streets, Pembina, ND. Bid opening date is scheduled for May 18, 1995. Plans and specifications available after April 17, 1995. Requests for bid packages must be made in writing to the above Contracting Officer. Total time for completion is 90 days. Work to be completed during or after regular hours.
