R -- SKI AREA APPRAISALS SOL WO-95-08 DUE 061595 POC Contact Point, Brenda Powell, (703)235-4374, Contracting Officer, H.Laurie Lewandowski, (703)235-2121 The USDA, Forest Service, seeks proposals for one or more complete self-contained, narrative project appraisal reports to estimate the fair market value of the annual use of National Forest System land by ski areas. The contract will include a base year and four option years. The contract start date will be approximately August 1, 1995. The contractor will be required to make a detailed field inspection of the properties identified in the contract, and to conduct such investigations and studies as are appropriate and necessary to derive sound conclusions of values and to prepare the appraisal reports. The contractor will be required to study 31 ski areas in the base period (270 days) and between 25 and 30 ski areas in each of the following four years. During the option years, the contractor may be required to update reports and provide testimony in administrative appeal proceedings and judicial proceedings.
