Lupis This synopsis in NOT a request for proposals or bids, but a request for expression of interest and capabilities. No reimbursement will be provided for any expenses associated with this request, and NASA reserves the right not to proceed with this requirement. NASA is interested in seeking firms capable of providing international mail consolidation services for the agency on either an agency-wide or center by center basis. Services will include (1) The daily pickup of international mail from the agency's designated area(s). (These pickup procedures include weighing the total consignment and the signing of a daily mail manifiest by the mail clerk to certify the poundage of mail given to the consolidator); (2) Transporting the agency international mail in appropriate covered vehicles to the contractor's facility for rapid weighing, indicia, presorting, bagging and invoicing; and (3) Delivery to the appropriate USPS international air mail facility. Information to be provided in response to this request should include a statement of technical capabilities to support NASA international mail consolidation requirements. The response should also include a description of the geographical locations of contractor facilities and ability to support NASA facilities located in the following areas: Washington, D.C., Kennedy Space Center, FL, Moffett Field, CA, Edwards, CA, Hampton, VA, Greenbelt, MD, Cleveland, OH, Marshall Space Flight Center, AL, Houston, TX, CA, and Stennis Space Center, MS. Please provide any publicly available commercial or catalog price lists of consolidation charges including quantity discounts. The information provided will be used by NASA in consideration of whether to procure international mail consolidation services on either a NASA-wide or individual NASA center basis.
