The work consists of, but is not limited to: removing the 2''x12'' redwood planks from the channel; removing the existing 45 degree PVC pipe found at the bottom of the first cooling tower and replacing it with a 90 degree bell flange elbow with a PVC pipe to reroute the water of the cooling tower to the catch basin; installing a layer of waterproofing membrane fully adhered to the interior surface; flashing the interior wall surface of the sump channel and heat weld the seams with waterproofing membrane; installing three containment grids at the end of the channel; and reinstalling the redwood plank.
