water heaters, tube bundle heat pressure shell design, pre-piped,
pre-assembled, instantaneous or semi-instantaneous, low steam pressure,
capable of providing specified flows and temperatures without the use
of thermostatic controls or storage tanks, integrally piped
recirculation system with a three way valve to preset the recirculation
temperature, negligible possibility of producing water hotter than the
temperature readily accessible and lockable, unit provided with a main
steam trap, drip trap, strainers and gauges; three sizes, capable of
producing 15, 30 and 60 gallons per minute (GPM) at 20 to 80 PSIG;
heaters to include all factory standard equipment, accessories,
fixtures, instruments or safety devices normally provided in good
commercial practice; heat coils/tube bundles and pressure vessels must
be warranted for ten years against defective workmanship that would
allow failure from corrosion or leakage. Heaters to be furnished on an
``as required'' basis for a 1-year Base Period for delivery FOB
Destination Fort Richardson or Fort Wainright, Alaska. Four (4) 1-year
Option Periods will also be included that may be exercised by the
Government in accordance with the contract terms. Estimated quantities
for the Base Period include 2 each 15 GPM, 30 each 30 GPM, and 6 each
60 GPM heaters for Fort Richardson, and 4 each 15 GPM, 25 each 30 GPM,
and 4 each 60 GPM heaters for Fort Wainright. All responsible sources
