59 -- MARKET SURVEY FOR MILITARY POWER SUPPLY FROM CURRENTLY QUALIFIED SOURCES DUE 041795 POC Jeffery Potter, Electronics Engineer, (908) 532-5733. This is a market survey to determine the availability of Military power supplies from sources that are currently CECOM qualified for this item. The following are criteria which prospective suppliers must have PREVIOUSLY successfully demonstrated to CECOM. a) Must match form, fit and function with power supply PP-7462A/U at unit level. b) The power supply has met the +55 degree F to + 95 degree F operating temperatures and -62 degree C to +70 degree C non-operating temperatures; c) The power supply has met the vehicular transportation and railroad transportation test specified in paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of MIL-S-55562(CR); d) The power supply has met the humidity test of MIL-STD-810C, Method 507.1, Procedure II, under non-operating conditions. Please note: this test is performed with the power supply in the semi-trailer or an equivalent enclosure (same number of cubic feet) with the air vents in the open position; e) INPUTS: 187-229 volts, 200-245 volts, 400-490 volts, 60 Hertz, or 380 volts, 50 Hertz; 104 Amperes at 230 volts input (max), 52 Amperes at 460 volts input (max), 3 phase; f) OUTPUT: 28 Volts DC (nominal), 26-36 volts Adjustment Range for 60 Hertz operation, 28-31 volts Adjustment Range for 50 Hertz operation; 500 Amperes continuous; g) OUTPUT CURRENT REGULATION: Static plus or minus 0.25%, Dynamic 5 volts at 1/2 load, 8 volts at full load; h) WEIGHT: 720 lbs (max); i) DIMENSIONS: 23 1/2'' wide (max) by 25'' deep (max) by 38 3/4'' high (max).
