The purpose of this effort is to inform and reach potential sources in order to develope a solicitation and eventual contract(s) of commercial electrical items. The items targeted are fuses, switches, and connectors. The mentioned items have the following FSC: fuses-5920 & 5915, switches-5930, connectors-5935. These items must be shipped within 24 hours and respective contractors must have the capability to receive orders via ECI/EDI/POPS through commercial distribution system. This is an advance notice of a pre-solicitation meeting on 18 April 95. Draft solicitations will be handed out following a briefing to discuss this effort. Contemplated solicitation will require delivery of commercial electrical supplies within 24 hours via commercial distribution system with ECI/EDI/POPS interchange. Multiple awards will be considered as a result of the solicitation which is tentatively scheduled to be released on 8 May 95.
