enter into non-competitive negotiations with Infra-Structures, Inc. of
Brentwood, New York for a 14-bay command console to be used for network
monitoring. This procurement is anticipated to be non-competitive, as
Infra-structures, Inc. is the only known source for this type of
equipment. Key requirements include: Features to support up to 14
network monitoring devices with video monitors ranging in size from
14'' to 17''; one large screen (37'') direct-view monitor (model
XC3725C) with 24-64 Khz Locking Horizontal Frequency Range, 110 degree
deflection angle, extreme high resolution capabilities, and 110/60 Hz
input power; integration of the video display with switching device
capable of switching 4 input devices to the central monitor; high
resolution video cabling and connectors to connect four monitoring
devices and the large screen monitor to video switching device; three
(3) zone digital time zone clock with 24 hour display and high
visibility LED design; double-tier, ''enclosed style'', modules that
are ''field upgradeable'' from single - double - or tipple tier with
hinged and piston assisted faceplates for each module, open frame
architecture to provide ''raceway'' for power and computer cables,
forced air cooling, aluminum venting, U.L. plug strips, double-sided
optically coated glass glare and reflection filters for each module,
and legless design; corner module section for the direct-view monitor
that will accommodate a monitor up to 37'' with front and rear
service-ways, forced air cooling, and expanded work-space and
documentation area below the monitor; retractable, adjustable keyboard
trays; and keyboard extension cables. The Government intends to
purchase one system. Firms who believe they can provide this system
should submit an affirmative response within 45 days of the publication
date of this notice. All responses will be considered. The responses
will be evaluated on the capability to provide the required equipment
described above. This notice is for informational purposes only - a
Request For Proposals (RFP) is not available. This notice represents
the Government's only official notice of this proposed procurement. See
