Aviation Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific Region, has a
requirement for Video Compression Equipment developed under the Small
Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program. The acquisition consists
of a Video Compression Unit, Video Decompression Unit, Microwave
Modems, installation and training in Guam. This equipment required, is
to be compatible with existing and future radar and flight (D-Brite)
equipment. As a follow-on to a SBIR Phase II Contract, the Government
intends to solicit and negotiate only with Delta Information Systems,
Inc., Horsham Business Center, Bldg. 3,300 Welsh Road, Ste. 120,
Hiroshima, PA. 19044-2273, under authority of 41 USC 253 (c) (1) as
implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. The
estimated price range for this acquisition is $25,000.00 to
$100,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3812.
Due to a change in the requirement and procurement method, this
advertisement supersedes previous 1/23/95 CBD notice of IFB
#DTFA08-95-B-04638 ''see note No. 22''. This notice BELOW is for
informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to
assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000.
