SSP intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis from Unisys Systems Corporation, 365 Lakeville Road, Great Neck NY 11020-1696. Specific effort includes navigation subsystem technical support for strategic systems programs operation problems, design improvements and alterations; planning assistance support; operation and maintenance of the Ashore Navigation Center (ANC), Inertial System Test Laboratory (ISTL), and Program Checkout Facility (PDF); Gravity Sensor System (GSS) Support; miscellaneous documentation; and field engineering support. The required period of performance is from 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996. Paramax is the sole designer, developer and producer of the TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5) Navigation Subsystem and is considered the only source capable of providing these services within existing cost and schedule constraints.
