Georgia 30367 M -- OPERATION OF JOB CORPS CENTER Sol RFP No. 95-RIV-JC-007. Due

Contracting Officer, at (404) 347-3178. Request for proposals for the
continued operation of the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center located
in Morganfield, Kentucky and the Satellite Center, located ten miles
east of Greenville, Kentucky, will be available approximately April 21,
1995, for issue in response to written request. The contractor shall
provide Academic and Vocational Training, operate a Counseling and
Residential Living Program, and operate the following support services:
Health Services, Processing of Student Records Discipline System,
Clothing Issue, Mail Services and Legal Services. The contractor shall
provide overall Center Management and Administration as follows:
Contract and Personnel Administration, Staff Training, Financial
Management, Procurement and Property Management, Facility Operations
and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services, Community Relations and
Public Information. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will
cover the period January 1, 1996 through December 31, 1998, plus 3
governmental unilaterial renewal options of one year. The approximate
average capacity strength is 2,234 students of which 1,380 are males
and 450 are females at the Main Center and 304 males and 100 females at
the Satellite Center. The contractor shall also provide direct outreach
services for a total of 350 students 210 males and 140 females) plus
direct placement services for all recruited students. A Pre-Proposal
Conference and site visit of the facility will be conducted at Earle C.
Clements Job Corps Center, 2302 U.S. Highway 60 E., Morganfield,
Kentucky 42437, on April 27, and 28, 1995, 9:00 a.m., local time. All
questions prior to the Pre-Proposal Conference should be submitted in
writing. Interested offerors should limit their attendance to no more
than three persons. Upon entering the facility for the site visit, tour
participants must report and register at the Job Corps Center's
Administration Building. Requests for this solicitation should include
(2) self-addressed mailing labels. Proposals in response to this RFP
will be due no later than 2:00 p.m., local time on June 15, 1995 to the
