The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs(OWCP), is recruiting to contract individual registered nurses to coordinate the medical management of injured federal employees. Assignments will be intermittent and part-time. Areas of recruitment include: Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. An applicant must possess the following minimum qualifications: (1) a valid registered nurse (R.N.) license, (2) at least two years of case management experience, (3) at least two years of general medical-surgical clinical experience. Additional expertise desired includes a basic knowledge of workers' compensation injuries and illnesses. Applicants chosen for this contract position will sign a Memorandum of Agreement and will be provided training in OWCP procedures.
