R -- USA PAVILIONS FOR DECOSIT '95 & HEIMTEXTIL '96 SOL 52SATA500095 POC Tish Tucker, Contracting Officer, FAX 202/482-0546 The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEX) intends to contract with a qualified, responsible firm for the design, construction, transportation, installation, and dismantling of the U.S.A. Pavilions for the Decosit '95 trade exhibition to be held in Brussels, Belgium on September 10 - 13, 1995 and the Heimtextil '96 trade exhibition to be held in Frankfurt, Germany on January 10 - 13, 1996. Both events feature textile home furnishing products. The design element of this acquisition includes the design of the pavilion, graphics and concept, as well as the layout of individual booths and floor plans. The contract shall have two option periods for pavilion reconstruction and related support services for the Decosit and Heimtextil exhibitions during 1996-97 and 1997-98. The total area for the U.S.A. Decosit '95 Pavilion nets approximately 400 square meters. The Heimtextil '96 U.S.A. Pavilion nets approximately 1500 square meters. The cost per square meter shall be calculated on the net space. The contractor shall be responsible for all licenses, taxes, permits, and fees related to the construction of the exhibits and must obtain third party liability insurance. The contractor shall be responsible for all complete exhibit booth outfitting, a lounge and kitchen, and a business information office. The contractor must provide a bilingual supervisor at each exhibition site. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competitive procedures. It will not be a set-aside.
