POC Michelle H. Turner Provide all necessary labor, equipment and
materials required to perform the work as described in FAA
specifications and drawings. The work includes but is not limited to
the following: (1) Provide a new diesel engine generator set. (2)
Provide an automatic closed transition and bypass-isolation switch. (3)
Provide accessories, including load bank, day tank batteries and
battery charger, exhaust system and dampers, control devices and other
equipment. In addition install a visible blade, heavy duty, 3-pole,
non-fused, 600 VAC, 400A, lockable switch. (4) Construct new concrete
pads for engine generator and remote radiator. (5) Provide proper
branch circuits, as necessary, to provide power for the EGS, battery
charger and other specified accessory equipment. (6) Remove and dispose
the existing EGS, batteries, automatic transfer switch, manual bypass
switch, two 480/277-208V transformers (T1 and T2), concrete slab in E/G
room, conduits, 100KW load bank, remote radiator, and the evaporative
cooler in E/G room. (7) Connect new EGS using existing underground
conduits and new above ground conduits. (8) Ground all conduits,
raceways and all other equipment according to FAA standard
FAA-STD-091b. (9) Provide a 200KW (minimum), 480V, 3-phase temporary
EGS and an automatic transfer switch. Automatic transfer switch shall
be a closed transition transfer switch. EGS shall be provided with
sufficient fuel for continuous 72 hour operation. (10) Obtain all
necessary certifications and permits. (11) Test the EGS upon completion
of the project. (12) Installation of cables between panel SB-1 and the
engine generator room shall require working in an underground tunnel
which can be classified as a confined space. (13) remove asbestos floor
tiles and other asbestos containing material-ACM from engine generator
room. The IFB DTFA08-95-B-03282 will be available approximately 30
days after the date of this publication with a public bid opening 30
calendar days from date of issuance. Estimated price range is between
$100K and $250K. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542.

Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and
