A minimum quantity of thirty (30) Radio Microwave Audio/video Transmitters will be acquired in the base period. Prospective offerors that specialize in surveillance equipment, communications and video equipment or modifying existing components should request a copy of the solicitation (a Capability Statement must accompany your request). This requirement will be accomplished by way of a Two-Step Sealed Bid. In the first step (after issuance of the solicitation), only technical proposals and descriptive literature will be received. In the second step, those found to be technically acceptable in the first, will be given an opportunity to submit a bid. The contract will be awarded to the low bidder (price and price related factors), of the offerors participating in the second step. The Service anticipates the award of a requirements contract for one (1) year, with four (4) one (1) year options. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be honored. (0094)
