Preiner, (317)355-7609 AN/APX-100(V) IFF Transponder -- It is the intent of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Indianapolis to award a sole source requirements type production contract, with two one-year options, for a buyout of AN/APX-100(V) systems to Allied Signal, Inc., Communications Systems, 1300 East Joppa Road, Towson, MD 21286-5999, as the only qualified manufacturer of the AN/APX-100(V) IFF Transponder and as such has the requisite knowledge necessary to fulfill the requirements of the government -- competition is limited in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source, as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation -- All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
