61 -- SHALLOW WATER RANGE EXPANSION CABLES SOL N66604-95-R-B602 DUE 061495 POC Contact Dennis Perry, Contracting Officer at (401) 841-2442 X221 Provide qualification (sample) cable and qualification testing: one (1) - 10 ft. long segment with a final destructive tensile test, one (1) - 500 ft. long segment; two (2) three nautical mile (nm) length trunk cables with additional armor for increased strength and abrasion resistance to provide protection in the surf zone; and forty (40) node interconnect cables totaling fifty-four (54) nautical miles (4 - 1,000 yd. lengths, 4 -2,000 yd. lengths, and 32 - 3,000 yd. lengths). A Firm Fixed Price Contract is anticipated. All items shall be delivered one hundred fifty (150) days after contract award to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, R.I. Award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting a technically acceptable proposal at the lowest evaluated price.
