Wright-Patterson Medical Center has a requirement for an image analysis system which will allow pathologists the ability to capture high resolution, true color images from frozen tissue sections, blood smears, autopsy, and surgical tissue sections. Shall be able to store, catalog and retrieve images, and transmit those images over ordinary telephone lines to any similarly equiped workstation. The equipment shall have near real time capabilities. Delivery shall be to Wright-Patterson AFB OH. This solicitation will be issued approx 95 May 01. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. No tel requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
