The initial issuance date of on or about March 1, 1995 for Solicitation No. KESO-95-0002 (5-10) has been changed to on or about March 22, 1995, and may be obtained from the General Services Administration, Information Technology Service, Schedules Division, KES, 18th and F Streets, N.W., Room G-1, Washington, DC 20405. The closing date for receipt of offers is May 10, 1995 at 4:30 PM local time at place of issuance. This Schedule covers the purchase maintenance, repair service, repair parts and training for general purpose commercial automatic data processing equipment which is used primarily on-line and software. Coverage also includes: associated peripheral equipment; subscriptions for technology assessment, acquisition, and CD-ROM publications; training which specifically pertains to the operation of the proposed equipment and software, or operational maintenance of the equipment. Excluded are end-user microcomputers, microsoftware, and used/refurbished ADPE. Refurbished ADPE will be solicited under a separate solicitation. NOTE: The solicitation will be written in WordPerfect 5.1 and issued on 3.5 inch high density DOS formatted diskettes only. Hard copies will not be made available. When the solicitation is released it will also be placed on the GSA Online Schedules System Bulletin Board (OSSBB) for download only. The OSSBB may be accessed by setting your communications parameters to 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit (8,N,1) Full Duplex and ANSI enabled. Terminal settings should be set at something other than NONE or TTY. Protocol should be, at least, X, Y or Z Modem (Z Modem preferred) (no ASCII). For all baud rates, dial 202/501-7254. Offeror's attention is directed to the Late Proposals Provision contained in the solicitation. Telecopier or Facsimile proposals, renewals, modifications or withdrawals of proposals, renewals or modifications are not permitted and will be disregarded if received. This schedule solicitation shall not solicit, nor will there be any acquisition of, products which are not U.S. made end products, designated country end products, NAFTA products, or Caribbean Basin country end products, in accordance with FAR 25.402(c), deviations to FAR Clauses 52.225-8 and 52.225-9 and General Services Administration Acquisition Regulation (GSAR) 525.402(a).
