The DynMcDermott Petroleum Operations Company, prime contractor for the Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve in New Orleans, Louisiana is interested in acquiring an automated Travel Management System software package that performs within the general guidelines as depicted below: Application Software Requirements: Applications software should perform all functions relative to the employee's travel process including, but not limited to: on line travel authorization with electronic signature approval and expense reporting capability; tracking and reporting employee cash advances and dues; a flexible database that maintains per diem rates, mileage rates and other applicable items in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations; reimbursement capability (check generation) for the employee and/or vendor; the capability to audit all expense reports against the allowable cost data base; the provision for additional data/data fields in facilitating front-end edit and back-end update capability to a mainframe computer system; a built-in security that ensures authorized controls of disbursement activities; a versatile cost accounting and reporting system and; be a native Microsoft Windows 3.x or Windows for Workgroup 3.x application. Hardware Requirements: System must run on the following Client Hardware: IBM or 100% compatible personal comuter with a 486 (33 MHz) or faster Intel microprocessor, VGA Video display adapter, Eight Mb of RAM, Microsoft Ergonomic, or 100% compatible mouse, IBM Token Ring Card and 340 Mb hard disk space (specify available hard disk requirement). Database Server Hardware: SMP with up to four (4) Pentium (100 MHz) microprocessors with EISA and PCI bus, 64 Mb of RAM and disk space provided with RAID via 32 bit EISA SCSI controller and 32 bit EISA Token Ring Card. File Server Hardware: Pentium (100 MHz) microprocessor with EISA bus, 64 Mb of RAM and disk space provided with RAID via 32 bit EISA SCSI controller and 32 bit IBM Token Ring Card. System Software Requirements: System must run on the following Client Software: Microsoft DOS 6.0 or higher, Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroup 3.1.1, Microsoft NT and ORACLE SQL*NET TCP/IP Windows Drivers.
