Contractor shall provide dockside repairs for the USCGC POLAR STAR. The major work items are as follows: Central Hydraulic System Pump Overhaul, AFFF Pump Overhauls, AFFF Valve and Strainer Overhauls, AFFF Tank Level Ind Renewal, Main Engine Transformer Renewal, Boiler Number 2 Maintenance, EGR Louver Damper Reconditioning, Vent Duct Renewals, Number 1 R/G Turning Gear Inspection, Flight Deck Net Load Tests, Preservation of Stacks, Temporary Service, Electric Motor Overhauls, Clean and Hydro CPP Coolers. The anticipated date to issue the solicitation will be 20 April, with an anticipated bid opening date of 22 May 1995.
