Pre-Solicitation Notice. This solicitation is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than Monday, April 24, 1995 indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform including credit references; prior contracts of similar type, size and complexity; and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. This information is required for each solicitation even if it has been provided previously. This is necessary in order to maintain documentation for each solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received, solicitation will be unrestricted and an additional notice will be submitted. The intention of this contract is to provide Boiler Safety Inspections for the Pensacola, Naval Complex and OLF Bronson Field by means of a Indefinite Quantity Contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, repair and replacement parts, test and repair facilities and equipment necessary to disassemble, clean, inspect, repair as needed, reassemble, test and set safety relief valves as described herein, including transportation for pick up and delivery at designated buildings. The contractor shall hold a current National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Certificate of Authorization for use of the ``VR'' (Repair of Safety Relief Valves) symbol stamp for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) CODE SECTION I ``V'' stamped. There is a $25.00 (non-refundable) fee per set of specifications. Make your company check or money order payable to the Navy Industrial Fund. (Cash and personal checks will not be accepted.)
