This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business. The work includes surface preparation, including preparation of surfaces coated with lead containing paint, priming and application of intermediate and finish coats on various exterior building surfaces, such as walls, roofs, windows and trim work. Surfaces to be painted include wood, metal, concrete, masonry, stucco, cement asbestos board and chimney stacks. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, scaffolding and equipment necessary to accomplish the work on various family housing units, one-story to three-stories in height, complete and ready for use. The SIC Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17.0 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should as early as possible not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in this acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. This is a firm fixed price contract.
