Areas are: Break rooms and locker rooms for men and women, a bulk mail acceptance unit, plus a separate ''rework'' office, a transportation office, and a general office for distribution operations. Typical work involves: Demolition of existing spaces, utilities and features, cutting opening and doors into stud and block walls, new walls, finishes, cabinetwork, carpeting and tile work, lighting, power, HVAC, ducting, etc. An important element of this work will involve sequencing and scheduling of work so that people and functions in existing spaces can be accommodated and shifted. All work cannot be done simultaneously. The project is estimated to cost between $135,000 and $160,000. Cost of the plans and specification is $50 per set nonrefundable.
